Draft’s D.C. Week Begins!

All this week, Rams Linebacker Chris Draft will be spending time in the Washington D.C. community, culminating with his acceptance of the J.B. Award for Community Service and a tour of the White House’s West Wing! Catch up with Draft’s D.C. Week right here on The Draft Report!

Rams linebacker Chris Draft has arrived in the nation’s captial, and he’s kicking his D.C. Week off right. On the schedule today:

10:30 – Meeting at Benjamin Banneker Academic High School - Banneker students participated in Chris Draft’s “Great Debaters” Essay contest last year. Winners of the essay contest received tickets to the Rams/Redskins Game and a tour of the West Wing. Draft will spend some time catching up with Principal Anita Berger.

12:00 – Meet with the NFLPA office – Draft and the NFL Players Association will be discussing several of his upcoming events, including this week’s J.B. Awards, upcoming Draft Family Fitness Day events and other possible collaborations.

2:00 – Video shoot for June EPA conference – Draft will participate in a promotional video for the Environmental Protection Agency’s upcoming conference in June.

3:15 – Meeting with Michelle Rhee, District of Columbia Public Schools Chancellor – Draft will talk with the Chancellor about the public schools and possibly make a few stops at schools in the area.
